"The Stars We Find in Dust" OUT NOW!
Emma-Rose Wallner is a young writer from just north of Toronto, Canada, who believes in the power of storytelling to make sense of life’s most complex emotions. Diagnosed with dyslexia at age eight, Emma-Rose never imagined she’d fall in love with reading and writing. But with the encouragement of a Grade 5 teacher and a well-stocked classroom library, she discovered the world of books— and never looked back. Drawing from her own experiences with depression, growing up, and the grief of losing someone close, Emma writes with raw honesty. Her debut book, The Stars We Find in Dust, offers an unfiltered glimpse into the mind of a teenage girl navigating the chaos of adolescence, mental health, and identity.
When she’s not writing, Emma enjoys horseback riding, filmmaking, painting, and studying quantum mechanics— an interest that inspires her to look at life from a wider lens.
Emma shares her creative work and thoughts online through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (never “X”), Tumblr, Bluesky, and Pinterest @emmarosewallner.
